So happy to hear that your congregation will be hosting Stefan. His music is beautiful and will create a special sacred space in your hearts. I have known and worked with Stefan since meeting him when my SoCal congregation hosted his workshop many years ago. He is a wonderful talent and brings many lasting gifts through his music and teaching. Enjoy!

You will have a delightful time with Stefan! My former congregation hosted him for a workshop in 2015 and they still sing his music. Enjoy the time!
ReplyDeleteI was fortunate to have met Stefan in Colorado during the recording of his 'Celtic Kirtan' CD, in 2014. Since that time I have experienced many of his retreats and concerts. The description above of Bethlehem Lutheran Church also beautifully describes Stefan's work and mission. I wish I could attend this weekend. Be prepared to be moved, to enter sacred space, to hear and sing deep and accessible song and to experience holy laughter.
ReplyDeleteBethlehem Lutheran's mission statement and prayer intention express well what I've found in my retreats with Stefan over the past ten years--a deepening of faith, hope and love. Stefan's animating music and story-telling and his questions that search out the depths of one's spirit both nourish and challenge. Wish I could be there with you! (The Rev.)
