Beginning in January, Bethlehem is partnering with the Baylight Insitute for Creative Arts (B.I.C.A.) to offer individual music and voice lessons on Bethlehem’s campus. There is also a “Rock Band” experience for middle school and high school students.

Community Garden

Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mesa, AZ is in the early stages of starting up a new Community Garden.  The development of this plan has many stages, including an Eagle Scout project built right into it.  Before we pursue this adventure, we need to seek out help from businesses to make this possible.  That is where you come in.

This vision of a Community Garden is an opportunity for you to “grow” with us in reaching out to the community.  In today’s economy, more and more families are turning to food banks for even the slightest help in their food bills.

In order to help this vision become a reality, we are in need of your assistance.  We need supplies:

Garden Supply Needs:
Organic vegetable seeds, gardening tools (garden kneelers, hand tools, pruning shears, garden gloves, …), yard tools (rakes, shovels, …), wheelbarrows, redwood or cedar lumber 2x6’s & 4x4’s,  irrigation plumbing supplies, tubing (emitter tubing & distribution tubing), hoses, conduit, shade cloth, gift cards (Home Depot, Lowes, Nurseries), monetary donations, plants and more….

Desert Botanical Garden Needs:
Organic wildflower seeds,  items that could be memorialized  (benches, picnic table, fountain)
We cannot thank you enough for your participation in helping to make this community project possible.   Your business will further be acknowledged in our monthly newsletter and among our community.
